Tokyo Inter-High School is an American-style high school in Japan, and is affiliated with the Alger Learning Center & Independence High School in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, USA which was founded in 1981. Using its train of thought on “Learning Ability Education” as a model, Inter-High School was established in Shibuya, Japan in 2000. Since then, it has graduated hundreds of diverse students around the world, many of whom have gone on to prestigious colleges such as Waseda University, Berklee College of Music, and New York University or have pursued professional careers in the field of fine arts and sports.
